
Kids Sewing Courses
Ages 8-12
Our Beginner and Intermediate Sewing Courses are 3 consecutive days, 4 hours a day. These Courses are perfect for kids wanting to focus on the basics of sewing, and creating a strong foundation of knowledge that they can build on!

Our Studio is fully supplied with fabrics, machines, and other notions needed for the Beginner and Intermediate Courses. Hereโs whatโs included:
FREE Starter Kit
We gift each Beginner Course student with our Stitch House Starter Kit, which comes with all the basic notions to complete the projects during studio time. (a $50 value!)
Sewing Handbook
You will also receive our Stitch House Handbook, which includes reference pages for stitches, seams, vocabulary, student notes and other helpful sewing references.
3 Days of Learning
Our courses are 3 days long, 4 hours a day. Thatโs 12 hours of instruction in a small group setting with learning and demonstration from our experienced instructors.
Provided Materials
Our courses include fabric, patterns, notions, and a sewing machine for each student so they can come to class with everything provided for them.

Kids Sewing Courses
Beginner Course
3 days | $365
Our Beginner Sewing Course is perfect for kids at all sewing levels, whether they have little or no experience with a sewing machine. Our goal in this 3-day course is to create a solid foundation which the sewist can build on. This includes sewing safety, all the parts of a machine, how to thread a machine, sewing vocabulary, how to use different tools, learning different stitches, and plenty more. By the end of the course the student will have completed 3 projects, have the basic foundations down, and will be ready to explore the world of sewing!

We highly suggest kids take this course before taking any other courses or workshops at Stitch House Studio.
Intermediate Course
3 days | $325
For students that have basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine, itโs time to build on what theyโve learned and practice more complicated techniques. They will explore new stitches, vocabulary, and many new skills. By the end of the Intermediate Course, each student will feel more confident in their sewing abilities, having completed intermediate level projects. The techniques they learn in this course will lead them to becoming an advanced sewist.

We have 8 sewing machine desk spaces, so most of our Courses have 8 seats available to ensure that each student can enjoy their own creative space comfortably.

Our courses are 3 consecutive days, 4 hours a day. This allows students to learn while the material stays fresh in their mind.

Robin and Jean Munson are the mother-daughter team behind Stitch House Studio who have dedicated their careers to the art of sewing. With 20+ years of experience, they have transformed their successful full-time workroom into Stitch House Studio where other creatives can learn, connect and create with others.
